1. Information We Do NOT Collect

Travel Map Animation does NOT collect, store, or transmit:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
• Location data or GPS coordinates
• Device information or identifiers
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Photos, videos, or audio files
• Travel routes or itinerary data

All data you create (routes, photos, videos) remains exclusively on your device.

2. Information Stored Locally

The app stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Travel Routes: Waypoints, vehicle types, and route configurations you create
• Photos: Images you attach to waypoints (stored on your device)
• Audio Files: Background music you select (stored on your device)
• Exported Videos: Travel animations you generate (saved to your device)
• App Preferences: Settings like theme preferences (using SharedPreferences)

Important: None of this data is transmitted to external servers. It remains solely on your device.

3. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services:

3.1 OpenStreetMap

We use OpenStreetMap tile servers to display maps. When rendering travel animations, the app downloads map tiles from OpenStreetMap servers (tile.openstreetmap.org). These requests may include your IP address, which is subject to OpenStreetMap's privacy policy.

3.2 Nominatim (Location Search)

When you search for locations, search queries are sent to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service. Search terms may be logged by Nominatim for rate-limiting purposes.

3.3 OSRM (Route Calculation)

Route paths are calculated using OSRM (Open Source Routing Machine) demo servers or alternative routing services. Route coordinates are sent to these servers for processing.

3.4 Google Play Services

If you download the app from Google Play, Google's privacy policy applies to the download and installation process.

4. Permissions Required

The app requests the following Android permissions:

• Storage Permission: To save exported videos to your device and access photos/audio files you choose to include
• Internet Permission: To download map tiles from OpenStreetMap and calculate routes

Note: We do NOT request location/GPS permissions. The app does not track your real-time location.

5. Data Sharing

We do NOT share, sell, trade, or rent any data to third parties.

All travel routes, photos, videos, and app data remain exclusively on your device. You have complete control over your data.

6. Video Export & Sharing

When you choose to share exported videos:

• Videos are generated locally on your device
• Sharing is done through Android's native share functionality
• You control which apps or services receive your videos
• The app does not automatically upload or share videos

7. Children's Privacy

Travel Map Animation does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages and does not contain content inappropriate for children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app (which we do not collect), please contact us at sujith81159@gmail.com and we will address your concerns.

8. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• Your travel routes and media files are protected by your device's security
• We recommend using device lock mechanisms (PIN, pattern, biometric)
• Uninstalling the app will remove all app-specific data from your device

Under applicable privacy laws (including GDPR and CCPA), you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Rectify inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to data processing
• Data portability

Since we do not collect or process personal data, these rights are inherently protected. All your data remains on your device and can be deleted by uninstalling the app.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
• Posting the new policy on this page
• Providing in-app notifications for significant changes
