This Privacy Policy explains how Perfume Mixer (the "App"), developed by Scholarship ("we", "us", or "our"), handles your information.

By using Perfume Mixer, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

1. Information we collect

A. Data you create inside the app

Perfume Mixer allows you to enter and save information related to your perfume blends (for example, fragrance notes, ratios, names of blends). This data is stored locally on your device and on our secure server to provide core functionality including the credit system and purchase restoration.

We do not require you to create an account or provide personal details (such as your name, address, or phone number) to use the App. Your device is identified internally using a randomly generated identifier that is not linked to your personal identity.

B. Photos captured by your device's camera

The App allows you to take photos of perfume bottles to identify fragrances using AI-powered image recognition. These photos are transmitted securely (via HTTPS/TLS encryption) to our server for analysis and are not stored permanently after processing.

C. Contact information (optional)

If you contact us for support or feedback by email, we may receive information such as your email address and the contents of your message. We use this information solely to respond to you and improve the App.

D. Purchase and credit data

When you purchase credits through in-app purchases (Google Play), we record the purchase token, product ID, and credit balance on our server. This enables us to track your credit usage, restore purchases after reinstalling the App, and prevent duplicate charges. We do not collect or store your payment card details—those are handled entirely by Google Play's secure payment system.

E. Automatically collected information

The App generates a unique device identifier (UUID) to associate your data with your device on our server. This identifier is not linked to your personal identity. We also maintain server logs of API requests for troubleshooting and security purposes, which may include request timestamps and response status codes. The current version of Perfume Mixer does not intentionally collect analytics data, advertising identifiers, or precise location data. However, your device's operating system or the app store (for example, Google Play) may collect basic diagnostic or usage information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

2. How we use your information

We may use the information we handle for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain the core features of Perfume Mixer, including perfume identification, blend creation, and your personal perfume cabinet.
• To manage your credit balance, process in-app purchases, and restore purchases when you reinstall the App.
• To transmit photos to our AI recognition service for perfume identification.
• To respond to your support requests, questions, or feedback.
• To improve App stability, design, and user experience.

3. Data storage and security

Your blend data, preferences, and purchase history are stored both locally on your device and on our secure server. If you uninstall the App, local data may be removed by the operating system, but server data is retained to enable purchase restoration when you reinstall.

All data transmitted between the App and our server is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Third-party services

Perfume Mixer uses the following third-party services:

• Google Play — handles in-app purchases and payment processing. We do not receive your payment card details.
• OpenAI / Google Gemini — provides AI-powered perfume image recognition and fragrance identification. Photos and text prompts are sent to these services for processing.
• Google Play Developer API — used server-side to verify purchase validity for purchase restoration.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing them to understand how they handle your data.

5. Children's privacy

Perfume Mixer is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

6. Data sharing and selling

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers. Your device identifier, credit balance, purchase history, and blend data are stored on our own server infrastructure and are not shared with third parties except as necessary to provide core App features (for example, sending a photo to the AI recognition service).

We may disclose information only if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests (for example, court orders or government regulations).

7. Your choices

• You can delete your blend data at any time from within the App or by clearing the App's data from your device settings.
• You can choose whether or not to contact us by email. If you no longer want us to keep previous email communication, you may request deletion (see the Contact section below).
• You can choose to use your own API keys (OpenAI or Gemini) instead of our credit-based server system, in which case your AI processing happens directly with the API provider without involving our server.

8. International users

If you access or use Perfume Mixer from a country outside the developer's country of residence, you understand that information may be processed on our server infrastructure or in other countries where our email or infrastructure providers operate. These locations may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically for any changes.
