Grokipedia Quiz Generator is an independent third-party Chrome extension that creates multiple-choice quizzes from Grokipedia articles using Chrome’s on-device AI. This extension is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Grokipedia.
We do not collect personal data. The extension does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information from users.
When you use the extension to generate a quiz, the extension temporarily reads the visible text and title of the active Grokipedia tab only after you click the Generate button. This text is processed locally by Chrome’s on-device AI model and is not sent to any remote server or third party.
Note: Host permissions are limited to Grokipedia domains only.
The only data used is the visible article text you choose to process. It is used exclusively to generate quiz questions and answers on your device. No analytics, telemetry, or usage metrics are collected.
We do not store any article text, quiz content, or user responses on any server. Any data retained in the extension is ephemeral and exists only in the browser session while the popup or quiz window is open. Closing the popup or browser will clear ephemeral data.
We do not share data with third parties. The extension does not connect to external APIs, analytics providers, or cloud services. All processing is performed on-device.
Because no data leaves your browser, the primary security risk is limited. We recommend you keep Chrome updated and only install extensions from trusted sources. If you notice unexpected behavior, uninstall the extension and contact support.
This extension is not intended specifically for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it (if any).
