Digital Aarthi is committed to protecting your privacy. This extension is lightweight, safe, and transparent. We do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal or sensitive user data.

1. Data Collection

The extension does not collect personally identifiable information (PII), browsing history, or sensitive data. All preferences (e.g., showing lamps, flowers, thali, bell, and Aarthi count) are stored locally in Chrome’s storage.sync for your convenience.

2. Permissions Explained

• tabs – Used to:
  • Open YouTube search results when you search devotional songs.
  • Send messages between the popup and your active YouTube tab to update Aarthi settings.
• storage – Saves user preferences locally (ON/OFF status, flower types, lamp/bell/thali visibility, Aarthi count).

These are the minimum permissions required for the extension to function. They are not used for tracking or advertising.

3. Data Sharing

The extension does not share data with third parties. The only external interaction occurs when you choose to search for devotional songs, which simply opens YouTube’s own search results page in a new tab.

4. Sensitive Data

The extension does not request, use, or process any financial data, authentication data, or personally identifiable information.
